Online Therapy Throughout New Jersey
Online Therapy for Emotional Eating and Body Image in New Jersey
Bariatric surgery can change how you eat, your daily routines, and your relationship with your body. It can also bring emotional experiences that you may not have anticipated.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (NJ-44SC06323400) offering online psychotherapy to adults in New Jersey who are preparing for or adjusting to bariatric surgery, navigating GLP-1 treatment, or experiencing challenges related to emotional eating and body image.
Psychological Support Before and After Bariatric Surgery
Preparing for surgery or adjusting to life afterward can involve expectations, uncertainty, changes in identity, and shifts in relationships.
My work focuses on helping you understand your emotional responses, recognize behavioral patterns, and develop strategies for navigating these experiences.
With your authorization, I can also collaborate with members of your medical or surgical team when appropriate.
You do not need to be pursuing surgery to benefit from my services.
The Behavioral Intensive
The Behavioral Intensive is a structured, three-hour psychotherapy session designed for focused work on emotional and behavioral concerns.
The $1,800 package includes a personalized written report, workbook materials, and two 30-minute follow-up appointments.
The work is individualized to your needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.
Additional information is available on the Services page.
